About us
The Osteo-articular Bioengineering and Biomaging (B2OA) Laboratory is a research department of  the CNRS Department of Science for Engineers and is affiliated with the Paris Diderot University  and with the Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort. Since its creation in 1977, the laboratory has developed a renowned  expertise in regeneration and imaging of skeletal tissues. Based on its experience, the B2OA’s mission is to deliver world-class research and education on osteo-articular engineering and imaging.

Its expert knowledge and skills in tissue engineering, imaging, and cellular and molecular biology allow the laboratory to develop new and innovative translational approaches for orthopedic, odontology and radiology medical fields. 
Beside its research endeavor, the B2OA also aims at using its expertise to provide top-class: 
  • Teaching for third cycle students;
  • Traning for master and PhD candidates;
  • Education for surgeons and clinicians to bring acquired knowledge to the patient's bed-side in order to improve actual treatments and diagnosis
